Website Architecture Optimization for H3 Hitema

Website Architecture Optimization for H3 Hitema

Description

🧠 Context

As part of its institutional website overhaul, the H3 Hitema training center aimed to rethink its site architecture to improve offer clarity, boost organic search (SEO), and provide smoother navigation for its various audiences (candidates, companies, students, parents).

🚧 Challenge

The existing site suffered from a stack of heterogeneous content, a non-intuitive organization, and duplicated content inherited from the group site. The lack of clear hierarchy hindered access to key information (programs, courses, apprenticeships, etc.) and limited SEO performance.

💡 Solution

I proposed a new architecture combining UX and SEO requirements, developed in collaboration with the H3 Campus marketing team:

  • Reorganization into clear thematic sections: School / Courses / Admissions / Apprenticeship / Blog
  • Addition of key pages: pedagogy, career opportunities, events, FAQs, etc.
  • Separation of "Continuing Education" and "Apprenticeship" sections with targeted content for companies and candidates
  • Creation of SEO-friendly landing pages with proper document titles and heading structure
  • Suggestions for dynamic content: testimonials, infographics

This new structure enhances offer visibility, improves internal linking, simplifies content updates, and strengthens the site's presence on targeted queries.
